It´s In the Air

I have no pictures to show you guys but wow, Karlstad is beautiful when spring turns into summer! I can feel it the whole body, SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE! And together with the summer comes the World Summit. Time to prepare for a fantastic week.
I thought I might tell you a bit about my plans for the summer. I guess they are quite the same for most swedish teens.
Most teenagers in Sweden work part of the summer or sometimes the whole summer. I will not work as much as usual this year but 4 weeks of my precious summer holidays are reserved for money makeing.
These money will however not stay in my pockets for such a long time since it´s very popular in Sweden to visit different music festivals. This year you´ll be finding me at three different festivals. The Peace and Love festival, who last year brought together almost 40 000 visitors will hopefully grow even bigger this year. It offers acts such as Jay-Z, Patti Smith, Lily Allen, The Kooks, Julian Casablancas, Robyn and a bunch of other great bands and singers. I will also visit two other festivals to see bands such as Babyshambles, Regina Spektor and N*E*R*D.
When all this is over I will have a couple of weeks to take a breather and enjoy the beautiful archipelago of Karlstad. I will go out fishing, hopefully learn wakeboarding, and hang out with my friends in the sun.
If you have anything interesting to tell us about your summer you are very welcome to do that in a comment

I saw the picture that Fanny had uploaded on me and Amanda, so I looked through the many files of pictures that I have on my computer and I suddenly came across this picture of Fanny! it was taken last year at spring when I, Fanny, Kristin and some others went to the Urix - "Viewfestival"
and i think that the picture is pretty awesoome!

I might put up some more picture from Urix later ;)

Late Night Study Session

The clock is soon half past one, and I´m taking a break from my history studies. In the middle of the troyan war my eyes and fingers gravitated towards the computer and suddenly I found myself surfing around at Facebook and different blogs. Yeah..It´s gonna be a long night..
A good thing however is that I found a very nice picture of Arda from KYC and his friend Amanda

Check out this handsome guy..!

Walk on water... Or drive.

Me, my Mum and Dad took the car over the frozen lake Vänern to get to our summerhouse located at an island. It was a very nice day, maybe one of the last real winterdays. Because I´m telling you, the snow is melting to big pools of water in the streets and the birds are singing louder every morning, the spring is on its way!!!

Here are some pictures from this day - Enjoy

I took a walk on the ice and here are my view over the lake. In the background; my Dad by the car. He is measuring the ice to see if it´s thick enough before he drives the last 100 meters to the island

My day, yesterday...

Hello everyone!
I was going to tell you about what I do in my spare time by telling you about yesterday.

First I woke up too early for a Saturday to get to a little ski slope where I work as a ski instructor a few nights a week. Yesterday we had the season-finale in which all groups can showcase what they have learned this season. My class, which I am a teacher for is between the ages of 5-10, was really good so all was rewarded with a medal.

Two girls in my group. Which were really happy for their medals!

Me at the skiclub

After the whole morning on the slopes in the hot sun, we drove back home just to change to normal clothes. And than we took off to a concert at our school with a famous Swedish singer, Helen Sjöholm. It was my grandfather's Christmas present and he was overjoyed and he really loved the concert. I thought it was okay. The average age at concerts was probably 50+ and they played alot of "old music", so many songs I'd never heard before.

At theend of the day I was at a friend with about ten other and we looked at Sweden's largest television pograma. It's called 'Melodifestivalen' and it's a really big music competition where the winner goes to the Eurovision song contest, which this year is in Norway! Although not the song that I like the most won the evening was awesome!
(This is the song that won, if you want to hear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Zg68EZ7aAU&feature=related)

That's one of my Saturdays!
